The SolarRaptor UV Mixed Light Lamp is a UV emitter based on the technology of a high pressure gas discharge lamp. It provides the animals with natural light, a broad UVA/UVB spectrum and a pleasant warmth.
The mixed light emitter also shows its strength in heat radiation. It is an efficient heating element and increases the terrarium temperature.

The powerful Solar Raptor UV Mixed Light Lamp (MVL, Mercury Vapor Lamp) is available in different wattages and also the right choice for larger desert and steppe terrariums.

The integrated reflector increases the light output many times over. Due to the hard glass used, no dust can burn into the spotlight and retain radiation.

Due to the good UV-A and UV-B content, the SolarRaptor UV-mixed light emitter supports the vital D3 synthesis.
UV-B is important for vitamin D3 synthesis and therefore for the bone and carapace structure of reptiles. UV-A is elementary for the well-being – increases appetite, activity and reproductive behavior of reptiles.

In the terrarium, the SolarRaptor mixed light lamp should be combined with a Skylight LED lighting system to provide basic lighting of the terrarium.

UV lamps must be replaced regularly, as the UV values decrease during operation.
The UV mixed light lamps provide your reptiles with reliable UV values for approx. 1 year – after that the lamps should be replaced.

The mixed light spotlight is simply screwed into a thermostable E27 lamp socket.
No ballast is required for operation.

When installing in the terrarium, make absolutely sure that the terrarium inhabitants cannot burn themselves on the lamp. The spotlight must be installed out of reach of the animals!

The steel lamp may only be operated with a suitable operating unit (E27, thermostable).
Ideal is the SolarRaptor® Reptile ClampLamp – this is supplied with a protective grid and suitable connection cable and can be connected without tools.

Only for additional supply (UV/heat) for pets.
The mixed light emitter is not suitable for room lighting or as a heat source in the household.
