Description

The light colour ROYAL BLUE produces a blue light at a wavelength of 460-465 nm and is suitable for the fresh water and seawater area. Our light comparison shows possible combinations. Suitable for all aquariums! Which and how many LED strips you ultimately need depends on the pool size, aquarium type, facility and trim, see FAQ. Freshwater: e.B. as moonlight, for the deep-sea effect or as a supplement to the main lighting. When used as moonlight, we recommend a dimmer, unless a daily simulation is available. Seawater: In combination with the light colours REEF, CORAL and/or MARINE, it promotes and supports coral growth.

Tip Using a dimmer makes it easy to throttle performance without the light getting noticeably darker. However, power consumption decreases and the service life is positively affected. The same result can also be achieved with an automatic light control or simulation.

It is a waterproof LED bar (IP67), which can also be used within the aquarium cover in the freshwater area. Permanent wetness as well as lime and dirt deposits can negatively affect the light quality, performance and service life of the LED strips. Therefore, we recommend using our CleanCover when used within the cover. Furthermore, the LED bar cools passively over the ambient air, there must be sufficient air circulation, openings for cables and hoses in the cover are usually sufficient for this.
