PVC stands for Poly Vinyl Chloride, this is a high-quality plastic with high chemical resistance. PVC is electrically insulating and very shape-resistant. The latter ensures that PVC can be processed very well into precision parts, also for electrical appliances. There is a distinction to be made between two types of PVC sheets: the solid and the foamed plates. Foamed sheets are made of an intermediate layer of PVC foam with two dense top layers. These plates are to some extent flexible and significantly lighter than solid plates. This sheet material is widely used in the advertising industry. Foamed PVC is easy to print or print. The material is easy to work with, PVC glueing, sawing and drilling is not a problem.
